Hyperview support has requested that I provide a Device Data XML file for a device that I recently discovered when I submitted a support ticket. Where can I find the Device Data XML file for that asset?

The locations of the Device Data XML files differ between the Windows and Linux versions of the Hyperview Data Collector. Each Device Data file is named based on the IP address of the device when it was discovered.
Windows Data Collector
The Windows Hyperview Data Collector device data XMLÂ files can be found in the following directory. The ProgramData folder is hidden in Windows by default, so you may need to enable view hidden files in the Windows explorer.
C:\ProgramData\Hyperview\deviceData
Linux Data Collector
The Linux Hyperview Data Collector device data XML files can be found in the following directory.Â
/opt/datacollector/var/state/deviceData
